CAWT Obesity Learning Network

In early 2011, delivery of the CAWT Obesity Project’s prevention and management programmes will commence in four pilot areas in the border region of the island. For more details click here.
A Learning Network has been established to

• Support collaboration between the four pilot areas
• Promote sharing of resources, expertise and learning
• Promote a consistent approach to the development, implementation and evaluation of the prevention and management programmes
• Support the four partnerships commissioned to deliver the programmes in the four pilot areas

The Learning Network is housed as a closed webgroup in the Obesity Hub (http://www.obesityhub.info)
 
A short-term objective of the learning network is to develop a comprehensive evaluation plan for the CAWT Obesity Project and its four pilot projects. Experience gained during this work will contribute to the development an evaluation toolkit for obesity interventions.
 
During this project, the Obesity Hub will test and further develop its webgroup tools so they can better support collaborations such as the learning network.
